The Shi Studio Mala Necklace is inspired by the play of beads ending in a larger bead and tassel found on the original mala necklaces. 

Traditionally, a mala necklace holds 108 beads plus a guru bead and is used for meditation and prayer. Our design has varied bead counts and the guru bead has been replaced by a Shi silk piece handmade locally and a silver charm sourced by direct fair trade from the Karen people of Thailand. It is not intended to be a traditional mala, but the Shi Mala Necklace offers the sacred power of its gemstones and can be used as a tool in your meditation as well as being worn as a beautiful adornment.

Each gemstone has its own properties, energy, and symbolic meanings that can be used for emotional healing, growth, and guidance. Every Shi Studio Gem Stone accessory comes with its own symbolism card to explain its specific qualities and symbolic meaning.
